>   A unique concept of GPS navigation on desert tracks and off-road.

>   Between racing and raid, the Challenge requires both strategy and off-road driving skills.

>   The points (geographical coordinates) given by the organisation are entered by the participants in their GPS.

>   Navigation from “virtual” points to points (located on tracks and off-road), according to the navigation strategy chosen by the participants.

>  The Challenge is not easy! It takes strategy and intuition to find the best route.

>   The Challenge is to reach the end of the course each day in a given number of hours, while trying to cover a minimum of kms. Participants will have to alternate driving “tracks” and “offroad” to find the right balance between speed and distance travelled (approximately 150 to 200 km per day).

>   Daily ranking.

Collection of SSVs in Europe
To make participation at the Challenge easier, we will organise transport solutions for SSV’s and equipment.
There will be different collection points in Europe.
The transporters will collect the SSV’s, deliver them to the start, stay at the event and then bring the SSV’s back to Europe.

Participants
We will organize transfers from the airport to the hotel for all participants. Covid pandemic

• Covid tests will be organised on arrival at the hotel at
  the start of the event and 24 hours before the end of
  the event if necessary
• Strict health protocol in accordance with Moroccan government guidelines
• Additional health guidelines and procedures from
  the organisers

 

Safety and medical plan

• GPS tracker in each vehicle
• Team of European and Moroccan emergency doctors
• Two 4×4 ambulances
• A Polaris Ranger ambulance
• A road ambulance
• Recovery team (return to the bivouac)
• Collaboration with the Moroccan authorities for all security aspects
